Vineyard
The grapes for this rosé come from a small vineyard in Carneros planted entirely to clone 828 of Pinot Noir. The cool climate in Carneros helps keep sugars low and acid levels in balance, producing complex and aromatic Pinot Noir, perfect for rosé.
Winemaking
We take our rosé drinking lightly but our winemaking seriously—picking specifically for rosé at low Brix and high acid, whole cluster pressing, and undergoing a long, slow, cool ferment. The wine was kept in stainless steel and neutral oak, and bottled the spring following harvest.
Winemaker’s Notes
Everything you’d want from a rosé—stone fruit, fresh strawberries, zippy acidity. Dry and refreshing, and ready to head to the beach.
